Welcome, we are glad you’re here!

You have taken the first step towards creating the new story of your life, and living the life you truly want to live. We are here to help you experience the change, relief, and lightness you are looking for that makes a real difference in the lives of individuals and couples.

Our goal is to always create and foster a therapeutic relationship with you that is built on the foundation of honesty, compassion, and trust. Understanding and listening are skills we will always bring to the experience. Together, we can create specific goals that are both realistic and achievable that will help you develop the necessary skills to handle all of life’s circumstances.

Our Approach

The therapeutic approach with individuals and couples is always sincere, genuine, and grounded in our intuitive and empath qualities. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation, or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, we look forward to working with you to achieve your goals. Our belief is that we all could benefit from therapy services at some point in our lives. When approaching individuals in therapy, the main goal is to help you feel safe and comfortable. A therapeutic relationship based on trust and respect is of the utmost importance to us, and we strongly believe once that level is reached, there are no limits to the amount of growth and potentially transformative experiences that one may realize.

Areas of Service

life challenges & changes

Life changes can come in any number of different forms. They can include moving to a different city, a new job, starting or ending a relationship, dealing with the loss of a loved one or beginning a new phase of life in. Depending on the type of transition and how the individual copes with change in general, life changes can be a time of significant stress and anxiety.

emotional & psychological trauma

Emotional and psychological trauma is the result of extraordinarily stressful events that impact your sense of security, and often times making you feel helpless. Psychological trauma can leave you struggling with upsetting emotions, memories, and anxiety that won’t go away. It can also leave you feeling numb, disconnected, and unable to trust other people. Traumatic experiences often involve a threat to life or safety, but any situation that leaves you feeling overwhelmed and isolated can result in trauma.

relationships & family

Therapy in this area can focus on the emotions, thoughts and behaviors of individuals, couples, and families in relationships. Relationship and family dynamics can be beautiful, yet dynamic, and talking about the inner workings can often times help an individual and participants thrive in their relationships with others.

patterns & behaviors

Recognizing potentially negative behavioral patterns is the initial step to take before doing anything about them. After we work at recognizing patterns, it’s easier to make informed decisions about what to do for the future. Even still, you may want to change, yet remain fearful of doing so. Getting past fears of the unknown is the obstacle that we can work on together as part of your healing plan. The truth is that overcoming fear of the unknown or working through patterns and behaviors we identify is a uniquely personal process.

addictions

Therapists and counselors are an important part of addiction therapy. Their role and involvement in the treatment process is instrumental to recovery. We can help support you throughout the treatment process and be part of an individualized plan for recovery, relapse prevention, and aftercare. Therapy can also provide an array of benefits to maintain your sobriety.

Grief & coping

Grief is a process of letting go and learning to accept and live with loss. The amount of time it takes to do this varies with each person. A natural and necessary part of grieving is experiencing the pain of the loss. To completely move forward, we have to be willing to feel and express the feelings, and all those difficult emotions surrounding the absence we may be facing our lives. Life experiences can be challenging, you are not alone, and together we can help develop the necessary coping skills to help you move forward.
